Mandriva: This is already fixed for some time. printerdrake shows
language abbreviations for non-Foomatic PPDs, like "(en)", "(fr)", ...

Debian: No non-standard stuff with impact to user experience known to
me. Non-standard is only the package/initscript name "cupsys".

Ubuntu: CUPS web interface intendedly de-activated (can be re-activated
by a trick: Add user "cupsys" to group "shadow" in /etc/group).
