[Desktop_printing] How to make a good GUI for page overrides

I'm sure the people from OpenUsability.org have interesting things to
say on ths topic but it seems that the key to any solution is to
identify the use cases for such functionality. You already identify two
of them so I would go from there and offer GUI functionality centered
around such use case.

For example, it would be straight forward to offer an additional tray
selection possibility in the GUI for the first page only.
