[Openais] [whitetank] - Minimal patch set to support Pacemaker

I'm rejecting 1.2 since I intend to fix it properly by installing a
shared object to link against for these functions.
patch #4 rejects badly. Can you fix it please? I looked at it but
wasn't sure I wanted to fix it manually when you are more aware of what
the changes are.
I have merged 1.1, 2.1, 2.2, 3.
