[Openais] aisexec dead but subsys locked

I just stopped the service and now I can't restart it even after a
reboot.  I have not changed the /etc/ais/openais.conf that was working
before.

It says:

aisexec dead but subsys locked


And this:

[MAIN ] AIS Executive couldn't open configuration object database
component.
[MAIN ] AIS Executive exiting (reason: could not use the object
database).



Does anyone know if there's a lock-file somewhere that I have to delete?
