Am I missing something here or that you are iterating the section while 
recovery is happening. That should never happen if thats what it is.

If thats not the case then I suspect an iterator initialized pre recovery is 
not working post recovery.

Please let me know the use case.

Maybe i've an idea here:

iteration_entry contain pointer to checkpoint section and it seems
that the recovery process does not update the pointer to the new
section list address.
can you confirm ?
