That's the point right there.  Post the code and people who are
interested can take it from there.

Again, I think you are aiming for the wrong audience here.  How about a
BOF at the Plumbers conference with this topic instead?  There will be
lots of storage people around and that way you can meet them in person,
to try to convince them of your proposal, which is what it looks like
you are wanting to do.

But again, this isn't a general "kernel-wide or process" type topic and
as such, isn't really that relevant for the KS this year.

We are trying to have topics that interest _everyone_ as much as
possible.  Otherwise people tune out.
