[Desktop_architects] GNOME

The problem I have with Gnome.

Gnome looks awesome, but it is very limited! To fix this, you should
add a default "command line here" to right click or to the upper menu
for each window. It is hard to go to a command line and then run
something like for example: a tar from a command line when you need to
type in the whole path first because the command line window doesn't
take you to the path you were in from Gnome's GUI. I know you can get
it to work by doing a bunch of junk to get a command line interface from
a menu, but this is way too much to do right from the start! It should
be included as a tool by default! What is Linux without a CLI interface
that is easy to get to no matter where you are? Gnome is like a weak
version of a Linux GUI because of this. (Desktop Manager) I will switch
back from KDE (Power) to Gnome (Pretty) when Gnome (Pretty) gets this
"CLI Here" feature back as a default like KDE (Power) has included. I
understand simplicity, as long as it doesn't interfere with the power
aspect. I love Gnome's GUI otherwise! It's beautiful!

Thanks,
Jason
