WAN networks behavior. The handles into netem is really great and gives the
user the possibilities to generate many of the ‘real worlds’ characteristics
in a LAB environment.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>I would however know if there is any way of
getting information back to the app. When it comes to when netem decides to delay,
drop or corrupt packets so that indications and corrupt packet counters may be
updated. It would for example be nice to display a graph of the dropped packets
and play with the correlation parameter so that you can illustrate the packet
loss bursts over time.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>If this is not possible without losing an
arm or a leg would it be possible to calculate the effects of the correlation
parameters to the respective function. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
